A utility for managing streaming replication in PostgreSQL

repmgr is a utility for managing streaming replication and failover in PostgreSQL. It provides a command line tool repmgr for setting up and administering PostgreSQL replication clusters, and a daemon-based monitoring and failover service, repmgrd.

repmgr was first released in 2010 and was originally developed by 2ndQuadrant and is now maintained by EnterpriseDB. It is available under the GPL v3 license.
