recovery_prefetch_fpw

A configuration parameter controlling prefetching of full page images
This entry relates to a feature which was incorporated into PostgreSQL 14 but subsequently withdrawn.

recovery_prefetch_fpw is a configuration parameter which determines whether to enable prefetching of blocks that were logged with full page images on a standby.

recovery_prefetch_fpw was added in PostgreSQL 14 but withdrawn with commit c2dc1934.

Default

The default value for recovery_prefetch_fpw is: off.

Usage

recovery_prefetch_fpw is only effective if recovery_prefetch is set to on.
