max_locks_per_transaction

A GUC parameter controlling the average number of object locks allocated for each transaction

max_locks_per_transaction is GUC parameter controlling the average number of object locks allocated for each transaction.

max_locks_per_transaction was added in PostgreSQL 7.2 (commit e0c9301c).

Usage

On a standby, max_locks_per_transaction must be set to the same or higher value as on the primary.

The current value of max_locks_per_transaction is one of the GUC parameters recorded in pg_control.
