ignore_system_indexes

A configuration parameter determining whether to ignore system indexes

ignore_system_indexes is a configuration parameter determining whether to ignore system indexes when reading system tables. This can be useful when recovering from corrupeted system indexes.

ignore_system_indexes was added in PostgreSQL 8.2.

Default value

The default value for ignore_system_indexes is: off.
